How to fold a Single Land Rover ATP
Folding and unfolding a Land Rover pushchair
(Manufactured by Pegasus Pushchairs Ltd under licence by Land Rover until September 2002, but no longer available and having no association with the current owner of the Land Rover Trademark)
is simple and after a few times will become second nature. The pictures and description below detail how to do it.
There is a hinge and sprung loaded slide lock mechanism on each side of the seat frame which secures the pushchair in the upright position.
Security Lock
The folding mechanism on the right hand side of the pushchair (as viewed from behind) has an additional security lock on the slide.
To fold the pushchair
Press the security lock button on the right side and slide the top section up and either: a) if your arms are long enough (and you're not pregnant !) then slide the left side up also, or b) slightly twist so that when released it does not re-lock, and then do the left side separately
Push the handle up (or the hinge down) to hinge the joint open and downwards, then fold over until flat
To open the pushchair
Simply lift the handle up to unfold the pushchair, the joint will close and click securely shut ready for use
IMPORTANT
The slider is designed to slide up and down the frame, DO NOT twist it around the frame as this will eventually cause the spring to stretch or fail and the hinge may break... we don't know why some people do this !
